Boo! .. Did I scare you?.. I’m back, of course, and I’m here to talk to you about virtual designer cars, but before I get into that, let me tell you what my dream car is. I want a DMC DeLorean, baby! 80s style because I’m an 80s baby. I want to gut the interior and give it a fresh updated look and paint the outside pearly white. I seen that somewhere on the net. I’ll try to find the picture again. But anyway, let me get into these virtual cars.. virtual collectibles.
It’s 2020 and now they have available virtual collectibles which can be bought, sold, or traded on the blockchain. These assets are called Non-Fungible Tokens or NFTs. For example, remember when Cryptokitties came on the scene? Well, it’s kind of the same concept for these virtual collectible cars I’m about to talk about. Cryptokittie collectibles are ERC721 tokens and have to be bought with the cryptocurrency Ethereum and stored in a cryptocurrency wallet that stores ERC721 tokens. With Etherlambos, same thing.
Etherlambos collectibles look so amazing. The designs are so superb to look at. Fine art. The designers of these cars are amazing. And the best part.. each model has a limited supply which seems as though that creates demand. Some people are use to physical collectibles, so creating demand might be a little difficult, but if the masses jump on board to this idea like Cryptokitties, then some people out there might make a little money, you never know. Be amazed, there has been Cryptokitties that have been sold for over $100,000.
Etherlambos allows you to tune your collectibles, meaning you can change the mechanics and exterior of your cars. I guess so you can up your sell price, I presume.
Another company that makes virtual collectible cars on the blockchain is CryptoMotors. They have amazing state-of-the-art, futuristic designs on their cars. And with this company they will have 2D, 3D, and VR games you can race your collectible car assets in.
If you’d like to sell your collectibles, there are places like OpenSea on the net. OpenSea is a Cryptocollectible Marketplace that allows individuals looking for your assets to buy them. Also, if you have the Discord app, there’s groups or servers that are exclusively for selling and/or trading NFTs.
